Las Madres Group's story

The group called Las Madres is made up of women heads of household who got together with the goal of being able to offer their loved ones better living conditions. They're all fighting for a better future for their loved ones because they want to give them everything they themselves weren't able to have.

Among them it's worth mentioning Juana, who sells ice cream and food that she herself prepares. She's a hardworking person who's looking for ways to improve herself and, that way, give her family the best so they don't suffer any hardship. Juana describes herself as a person who doesn't let herself give up and who's fighting for a better future for her family.

She's requesting this loan to be able to buy ingredients to make the food she sells, such as meat, condiments, vegetables, and others. This way she can continue with her work.

Note: There's only one person in the photo but this is a group loan. A group photo wasn't possible because of social distancing during the Covid-19 pandemic.
