Emerence is 41 years old and married with six children aged between 5 and 22 years. Her husband is a taxi driver. For the past 24 years she has been selling clothes.

Emerence is the leader of the group named Abahirwa Cb which in English means “blessings.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Emerence will use her loan to buy more clothes to sell in her community. With the profits from her sales she will pay school fees for their children and put away some savings.
