03_Gpf Deggo Kafountine Group's story

This group is made up of ten women who have strong relationships and live in the same area. They have seized the opportunity to belong to a female group when it was introduced at the beginning of October. They are primarily active in sales of varying products. Madame Coura, who is at the extreme right of the photo with her hand raised, is the leader of the group. She is married, 32 years old, and the mother of two school aged children one of which is a girl. For many years, she has been selling palm oil, lemon juice, dry fish and beauty products.

With this loan, she foresees increasing the quantity of stock which she will sell at the local market.

The profits will help her husband to manage the daily expenses including school fees and health care for the children.

In this group: Aida, Coura, Ndeye Binta, Seni, Aissatou, Oumy, Assyatou, Hassanatou, Seynabou, Marie Etienne
