This group of eleven women make up part of a women's group that was started in October. They earn their livings mainly by selling a variety of products.

Yaffaye who is on the right in the photo with her hand raised is the group representative. She is 35 years old, married and is the mother of seven children, three of whom are girls. She has been making a living with a business selling local products for a number of years.

With her new loan she plans to increase the quantity of merchandise she is stocking up on. She will sell the products at the market.
She will use her earnings to help her husband take care of the family expanses and also pay for the children's education and health care.
