A loan helped to purchase more inventory for his shop.

Gato's story

Gato is an inspiring entrepreneur living in Rwanda. He started selling clothes in the local market but decided that most of his profits would be reinvested in his business instead of spending on personal use. With this mindset, Gato has been able to have one of the biggest shops in the community.

Gato's business now sells different clothing including clothing for women, men, and children. He also sells fabrics and mattresses. Gato is a husband and father of two. He is very grateful for the success of his business because he has been able to provide for his family. Gato is hoping to provide employment to two people to help him run the business.

The clothes shop, just like many other businesses, has also suffered this year due to COVID-19. He did not generate high revenue and it was also closed for a few months and he was running out of stock. A loan for Gato will help him purchase more items for the shop to make his business operational again.

This loan is special because:

It help refugees integrate into their host communities.
