Jean's story

Jean is a Rwandan entrepreneur in Kirehe District in Rwanda. He is married and has five children.

He has a general store where he sells different home utilities and also provides secretarial services. He started in 2012 as a small business where he only sold foodstuffs. As the business grew he moved to a bigger place that is near a school. Most of his clients are students who pass by to print school work or buy snacks.

Schools have been closed due to the outbreak but they are now starting to resume. Jean wants to have enough stock to be ready for the high demand from his customers. A loan will enable him to invest in buying more products in the general store to satisfy the demand from his customers.
