A loan helped to buy a cow to replace an old one so his family will keep having dairy products, and to sell a little also.

Elham's story

Elham is a 32-year-old man from a village in south-eastern Albania. He is a devoted son of two elderly and sick parents. He lives with his parents and his sibling. He is the only provider in his family and the main activity he performs is agriculture, beside working as a labourer when someone calls him.

"We used to have an old cow, which got sick and we had to sell it for a very low price. Now I want to buy another cow to replace the old one so my family will keep having dairy products, and if there is something left I could sell it and make an income!"-said Elham hopefully during the interview. His old cow used to give a few litres of milk as it was very old.

Elham is seeking a Kiva loan in order to pay for the cow he is going to buy. He hopes that with your generosity, he will be able to keep providing dairy products for his family.
