A loan helped to buy livestock to increase her income from breeding them.

Shaankul's story

Shaankul is 55 years old, widowed, and raising two children. She has a secondary education. Since 1990, she has been involved in raising livestock and growing crops as the primary source of income for her family.

Thanks to Shaankul’s hard work and her spouse’s help, her farm currently has 4 cows, 10 sheep, and 4 horses. In order to further develop her farm, she applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 200,000 KGS to buy livestock in order to increase her income from breeding them. The income from the loan will help her expand her farm by increasing the number of livestock and building a barn.
