A loan helped to buy more dried fish and cow skin to sell.

Esther's story

Esther is 57 years old and widowed with 10 children. All of her children are school-going. She is a resident of Monrovia region.

She operates a business where she sells dried fish and cow skin as the primary source of income to meet family necessities. She is currently out of stock to provide to her demanding customers, yet she is short of income since sales had gone down due to the current pandemic.

Esther approached BRAC Liberia seeking a credit facility to boost her capital to buy more dried fish and cow skin to sell and meet her customers' needs since some of them have resumed work. Sales from the business will help shoot her profit margin high and also increase her cash inflows for family support and also grow the business.
