A loan of $1,900 helps to purchase fish, prawns, shrimp, cooking utensils, etc.

Inda Adelita's story

Inda Adelita is 51 years old, a single mother, and has 6 adult children. They live in Bahía, which was affected by the earthquake of April 16, 2016. Currently, it is rebuilding its infrastructure and businesses, and strengthening tourism. There is a health resort, lovely beaches, and one can do all the water sports.

Inda Adelita works making and selling from her house, where she has a small eatery or makes food to order. Due to her exquisite food and the variety of cuisine she offers, she has loyal customers. She works from Monday to Saturday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

At first the health crisis was very bad for her since she was unable to sell but now, little by little, she is reactivating it so to be able to continue generating her income.

With this new loan, she will purchase provisions to continue preparing her dishes, such as fish, prawns, shrimp, cooking utensils, etc. Her dream is to have a larger restaurant and that her family is very healthy.
