A loan helped to invest in the purchase of frames, magnifying lenses and glasses.

Jairo's story

Jairo is a 50-year-old micro entrepreneur. He is married and lives in the city of Cartagena. This entrepreneur started his business selling frames, magnifying lenses and glasses to generate income and improve his family's quality of life.

Jairo is a good quality salesman as he makes the most of all opportunities that present themselves every day to do business with his merchandise. His wife is his driving force in life and she joins him in carrying out this work. Jairo asked for a loan and set up his own premises.

Due to the pandemic, his business was affected and with it his income. Thanks to the economic reopening, his business plan is soaring and this is why he is seeking to mitigate the impact of Covid-19 and, currently, is applying for a Kiva loan. It is his first loan with the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo. He hopes to invest the resources in the purchase of frames, magnifying lenses and glasses. This salesman hopes that this loan will allow him to gain better profits and so provide the security and financial stability to his family that they are dreaming of.

Support him in his loan, it will be a success.
