Leng's story

Leng S., 27, is married and resides with her husband and four children in Kampong Chnang Province, Cambodia, an area known for clay and ceramic products. She is a worker at a shoe factory for an income of about $1.50 per day. Her husband is a construction worker, earning an income of $6 per day to help cover the family expenses.

S. is requesting a loan of $1,000 to repair her house. In the future, she would like to use any additional profit to open a grocery store. This is her first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner in Cambodia. S. is pictured with her family.
