A loan of $800 helps to expand his work capital and buy supplies for his general store, such as grains and rice, among other things.

Jose Luis's story

Jose is a 39-year-old micro entrepreneur. He lives in the city of Barranquilla, a place where he has also had a store for approximately three years.

Jose started his business due a lack of employment opportunities and out of a desire to move his family forward. He offers his services daily to people from the area, neighbors and friends, among others.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the profits and sales from his business diminished greatly because he had to close his store early for health and safety reasons. For that reason Jose joined the "Atlántico Responde" program led by the chamber of commerce, to seek his first loan through the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo. This will allow him to expand his work capital and buy supplies to stock his business, such as grains and rice, among other things. This will increase his sales and the profit of his business. Support him with this business loan.
