A loan of $1,300 helps to invest in the payments of services, rentals and the purchase of beauty products which are being requested.

Delcy Esther's story

Delcy Esther is a 33 year old micro-entrepreneur who lives with her partner in the city of Cartagena. She has been in the hairdressing business for 15 years.

The business idea came about because the client's parents have always run hairdressing and beauty businesses and the client took her first steps in this business. She then specialized in aesthetics and beauty, and with the support of her parents she decided to set up her own independent business.

Currently she has four employees which contributes to the generation of employment and well-being of those families. She is recognized in the sector for her good service and quality products. Due to the worldwide COVID -19 pandemic her work level deteriorated due because of biosecurity issues and her income decreased dramatically. For this reason she joined the Atlantic program to apply for her first Kiva loan with the Santo Domingo Foundation in order to invest in the payments of services, rentals and buy beauty products that are being requested. Support her in her business loan.
