A loan of $500 helps to reconstruct their house in order to live in a good condition and be safe.

Muyassara's story

The woman in the photo is Muyassara. She is from Kanibadam, Tajikistan. She is 47 years old and a married woman who cares for three children. Her husband is in a foreign country, where he went to earn money. Muyassara is a hard-working, good-mannered woman who takes the initiative. For 11 years she has been engaged in gardening. This is a hard profession, which requires work everyday including weekends and especially in the summer. Happily, Muyassara is not alone as her daughter helps her in a business. She has more than fifty apricot trees in her garden. With her daughter, they harvest apricots together and sell them in market. Customers also like their dried apricots, which Muyassara dries under the sun and offers them.

Muyassara’s husband does not have a good job in a foreign country. That is why he often doesn’t send money to the family. At the moment, Muyassara needs financial support for renovations to her house. Her house is old and needs to be reconstructed. This is heavy work for her as she does not have enough money. That is why she is asking for a loan with Kiva’s partner, IMON. Through your support, she can begin the renovation process at her house, cover construction expenses and provide her children a safe house. Muyassara is a returning borrower and she is responsible with debts. She hopes that you will help her in this time too and thanks you in advance.
