A loan of $525 helped stocking up on stuffed animals.

Jaqueline's story

Jaquelin is a hard-working mother who lives with her husband and three children in her mother's home. Years ago she began to sell school supplies, but did not have much success, so she turned to another business: the sale of used clothes. However, her greatest inclination was to sell stuffed animals, since very few people sell this product. She now makes a good income, successfully selling them to customers who buy them as gifts. Her husband did not initially have much faith in her work, but now that he sees how happy she is, he supports her purchases. She has been in this business for 5 years, and the most difficult aspect has been gaining a space in the market, as it has been informal up until now. This is her twelfth loan with MFP and she knows it will be very useful. It will increase her working capital. She promises that she will repay the instalments on time. She intends to invest this loan in the purchase of more stuffed animals, and on the other hand she wants to help her husband buy a tire for his motorcycle.
