Harimalala's story

Harimalala is a widow. She is fifty-four years old. She has four children all of whom are independent. She lives with her grand-daughter a few minutes from downtown. She owns a permanent home. She has been running a pig-raising business for about a decade.

She joined Vahatra recently to strengthen her financial capital. The loan was a success. She bought a pig with her profits. She hopes to grow her pig-raising business to earn more profit. She is seeking support from lenders to buy a pig and feed to sustain it. She plans to save more money for her grand-daughter's future.
