A loan of $1,000 helped chargers, phones.

Ketty Del Rocio's story

Ketty, 26, lives in the Fortín area of Guayaquil, an urban hillside area with dirt roads that is located in outskirts of the city of Guayaquil. She has a 4 year-old son. Her father taught her to fix telephones when she was 18. Later, when she was grown, she did not have a job and so had to practice what her father taught her, fixing the telephones of her friends.

Now she has a post where she repairs and sells telephones and telephone accessories. She works from 8am until 8pm every day. In order to have a greater variety of products, she wants to buy telephones, chargers, and cell phone housings with this loan.

In the future, she wants to extend her business to include a line of repair shops.
