A loan of $1,200 helped to buy breeding calves.

Oscar Trinidad's story

Oscar Trinidad is 34 years old and he is a small grower living in the El Jicaro region. He is married with Maria and his family is composed of his young children, his wife and himself. Since he was very young he has dedicated himself to the farming business, as his parents taught him to work and to comply with his commitments. He owns a property of 40 manzanas (approx. 70 acres), offering good conditions to the handling of his herd; with his previous loan he succeeded in buy a solar panel, as he wants his family to enjoy the basic living conditions at home. He is known in his community for a very responsible, honest and hard-working man.

He is asking for his 4th loan to buy calves to fatten, breed and then sell them at a fair price that will allow him both to earn enough money to offer better chances to his family and to strengthen his cattle inventory.

His biggest dream is to be able to provide the best living conditions for his family, and for his children to get an education and be good, hard-working men.
