A loan helped a member to buy new merchandise such as cookies, coconut sweets, and candies.

Dos Amigos Ii Group's story

Maria Jose is the leader of the group called “Dos amigos II.” She is the one in the black blouse. She lives with her husband in a modest house in Maua.

She began working for herself 30 years ago when her husband had an accident and was unable to work. So in order to support the family, she ran a small candy store from her garage and was able to generate an income and take care of her husband.

She is asking for this loan to invest in new merchandise such as cookies, coconut sweets, and hard candies because many of the products went bad as an effect of Covid-19, and she did not have the capital to invest and return to work.

The group is grateful to the investors for the opportunity.
