José is a microbusiness owner, 61 years old, who lives in Barranquilla. He runs a business selling agricultural and natural products, with over 20 years of experience in this work.

He joined the "Barranquilla responds" programme, which aims to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and encourage economic revival, to ask for a Kiva loan through the Fundación Santo Domingo, and he will invest these funds in buying wholesale goods with high turnover and in paying his bills with a supplier. He is also offering a line of products for COVID protection and care, including masks, antibacterial gels, alcohol, painkillers, etc.
