A loan of $1,300 helps to purchase supplies such as leather, synthetic leather, etc.

Ausberto's story

Ausberto is a 25 year-old micro entrepreneur who lives in Barranquilla. He has his own business, where he produces and sells bags and unisex backpacks. Ausberto has 5 years of experience in the job.

The idea of a business emerged while he was in a musical group. He saw the opportunity of using good quality satchels and backpacks sold at a fair price to protect the musical instruments. His main clients are warehouses for musical instruments (for which he produces satchels and backpacks), as well as independent musicians.

In order to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and reactivate his economy, Ausberto became affiliated to the “Barranquilla Responde” program, in order to ask for a loan through Fundación Santo Domingo. He will use this loan to purchase supplies for his business, such as synthetic leather.
