A loan helped to buy 40 pieces of lace, 10 pieces of Uniwax pagnes (traditional patterned cloth), and 17 scarves and to save money to improve her family's living conditions.

Limata's story

Limata is the mother of 3 children who are in school and she has 4 other people in her care. She has been selling clothing in a market in the capital for over 15 years.

She is in her eleventh loan cycle with Yikri. She is up to date on her repayments for her previous loans and she reimbursed her second Kiva loan. She is requesting a new one in order to buy 40 pieces of lace, 10 pieces of Uniwax pagnes (traditional patterned cloth), and 17 scarves in order to sell them to her customers and earn a lot of income.

She wants to use the money she makes to reinvest in her business and to save some in order to improve her family's living conditions.

She thanks the Kiva lenders and encourages everyone to protect themselves from COVID-19.
