A loan of $1,950 helps to buy more animals, increase commodity turnover and get more income.

Gulchehra's story

Gulchehra is a strong woman, 53 years old. She lives in Kanibadam, Tajikistan. She is a polite, sociable and sincere woman. She is married and has three adult children. Her husband is a bus driver, and he doesn’t have a good income. For twenty years Gulchehra has been engaged in gardening and cattle breeding. In the first years of her activity she had too small income and raised her kids with hard work and great zeal. Happily, now her children are adults, have their own families and good jobs.

Despite her age, Gulchehra continues her activity and wants to expand her cattle business. She is asking for a loan with Kiva’s partner IMON to buy more animals, increase commodity turnover and get more income. She is very responsible with finances and has the possibility to return a loan in time. She hopes for your help and support in this issue and thanks you in advance.

This loan is special because:

It supports low-income female farmers while minimizing interest payments.
