A loan helped a member to buy corn, firewood, and other supplies.

Dios Con Nosotros San Martin Group's story

María Auxiliadora, 54, is the mother of 5 grown children. She has been working selling tortillas for 15 years. After 2 years, her business became well-established with her customers. This is how she started up the business that she has today. She is focused on her business, because in the area where she lives there is a shortage of raw materials in this season. This is why she is requesting a loan from Fundenuse and Kiva to buy the supplies she needs to stock up for the next 5 months. Her goal for the future is to build a kitchen in her house, because the one she has now is in very bad condition. In the short run, her goal is to pay off this loan. She is a member of the communal bank "Dios con nosotros San Martin," along with Nohemi, who sells new clothing on the street, Ivania, who sells food such as enchiladas, tacos, and soft drinks, and María Auxiliadora B., who owns a grocery store.
