Mirasol's story

Mirasol is a resident of Baybay, Leyte. She is 52 years old, married, and has five children. To earn an income, her husband works as a farmer while she runs a hog-raising business. She has been in this business for many years.

She has now requested the amount of 40,000 PHP through KIVA’s field partner CEVI, (a microfinance NGO) in the Philippines, which she will use to buy feed.

Mirasol wants to improve this business in the future for a better means of living.
