Ercilia Julisa's story

Julissa is 40 years old, and has been married for 10 years. She is very dedicated to her work, which is the sale of sweets, snacks, stickers, etc. She does this work on a tricycle, as does her husband, outside of schools from Monday to Friday.

She leaves the house at 6:00 in the morning and works until 6 in the evening, when she returns home tired, since she drives her own tricycle while her husband has another and they split up.

Our partner was born in the Ecuadoran capital but since her marriage 10 years ago, she has lived in Portoviejo. She has 4 children, but only one of them lives with her. The rest live in Quito and are already on their own.

Aside from tricycle sales, Julissa has another business; a food store which her son watches while she's out. With this new loan, Julissa will be able to invest in her two businesses and advance them both. During the school year, confectionery sales are very successful and she needs to increase her stock, and the store also needs investment.

Our partner is very happy to be able to keep both her businesses stable. Her dream is to have her own home and stop renting.
