A loan helped a member to buy sheep and bulls.

Deggo Group's story

This group of women has been in place since September 2013. They live in the same town and have very strong family and solidarity links. Their main activity is farming and raising animals.

Filomene, who is the group's representative, is 63 years old, married and mother to ten children, seven of whom are girls. She is a farmer and also raises animals.

With this loan, she is planning to buy sheep and bulls to raise and then resell at the local market at a good price, hoping to increase her income. With the profits she is intending to boost her activity.

In this group: Ramata, Filomene, Salla, Oumou
