A loan helped a member to buy sugar and rice.

Egoudou Group's story

This group of women has been in place since September 2013. They live in the same town and have very strong family and solidarity links. Their main activity is commerce.

Egoudou, who is the group's representative, is 48 years old, married and mother to eight children, five of whom are girls. She is an active trader. With this loan, she is planning to buy large quantities of sugar and rice to resell on a retail basis at the local market at a good price, hoping to increase her income.

With the profits, she is planning to boost her savings and help her husband to provide for the family's needs (food, healthcare and the children's schooling).

In this group: Egoudou, Tabaski , Sokhna
