A loan of $975 helps to buy some cattle, expand business and get more profit.

Asalmo's story

Asalmo is a strong-willed woman who has endured many difficulties in life. She was born in 1964 in Rumi, Tajikistan. She is a widow with five sons.

After the death of her husband, Asalmo was left alone with her children, and one can imagine how hard it was for her to cope with family needs and expenses. To feed her five sons, she struggled to sell oil. But this was not enough to cover all the costs and, with great difficulty, she began to raise and sell cattle.

Now Asalmo has a favorable business that she does with her sons. She has a stable income that helps to cope with family expenses. She doesn’t want to stop and wishes to expand her livestock-raising business.

Asalmo is a returning borrower with a positive credit history. She is asking for a second loan from Kiva’s partner IMON. This loan will help her buy some cattle, expand business and get more profit.
