A loan of $725 helped purchase clothing for women, men, and children.

Aura Liliana's story

Sra. Aura is 22 years old, married, and has a son. She is a homemaker who is dedicated to her family, but also has a business that helps benefit her family financially so that they can move forward. Aura has no reservations about selling clothing in order to get ahead. She does everything with love, whether it be her family or her work, and treats everything the same.

Aura sells clothing for women, men, and children. She buys her inventory in the city of Guayaquil and invests 500 dollars on each trip. Aura extends credit to generate sales and sets aside a specific day of the week for collecting payments. She has been in business for five years. Her husband has a job washing cars, which takes up much of his time. He knows that these sacrifices are for the good of the family. They are both from Montecristí. They fell in love in this city, which is known as the “City of the Old Warrior” (the nickname for one of Ecuador’s Presidents, Eloy Alfaro).
