A loan helped a member to purchase meat, eggs, baked goods, vegetables, seasonings, and other products.

Mujeres Activas Group's story

There are 12 women who make up this committee. It is made up of self-sacrificing women who seek the way to be able to get their loved ones ahead and that they do not have to experience any type of need like those they experienced.

One of them is Silvia who, through continuous effort and sacrifice, and through the sale of food items, helps her children. Due to the pandemic, she had to work every other day and, with that, her income dropped and there were days she was unable to work normally, which affected her income greatly. She seeks the way to be able to lift up her business again and, with this, to continue helping her family.

She asks for this loan to be able to purchase ingredients to continue making her foods such as meat, eggs, baked goods, vegetables, seasonings, and other products.

Note: There is only one person in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo was not possible to prevent the gathering of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
