Celedonia's story

Celedonia is 36 years old and a hardworking responsible woman. She lives in her own home with her five beloved children who are the main reason behind all of her endeavors. With great effort, she has worked her farmland and achieved extremely productive results. She grows ulluco, carrots, and potatoes and sells them in bulk in the city of Tarma. Her crops proviD. the necessary income to support her family. For this reason, she wants to continue investing so that she can succeed in her business. What she enjoys most about her job is caring for her crops. Celedonia has been in this business for ten years and considers the most difficult part to be transporting her products to the wholesale market in Tarma since the sacks are quite heavy and the work exhausting. In order to get ahead, she hopes to improve her crops so that she can generate a better income.

This is her fifth loan with MFP. Celedonia said that she submitted her payments from her previous loans on time, so she hopes to do the same now. In her Communal Bank, she is an active participant and is always aware of the agreements that are reached within her group. With the loan of 1200 PEN that she requested, Celedonia will buy compost and insecticides in hopes of improving her crops.
