A loan helped to buy fabric to make bags, masks, and aprons.

Fatima Del Carmen's story

Fatima is a young entrepreneur who sews for a living. She previously requested a loan with Kiva which she used to buy snacks for her business; this helped her increase her income selling these snacks. She is very grateful.

She is requesting a new Kiva loan through MiCredito which she will use to buy fabric to make bags, masks, and aprons. This will help her to boost her sewing business and invest in a variety of products to sell. In the future, she plans to invest in agriculture too. She currently has about half a hectare of corn crops.
