A loan helped a member to buy the raw materials to make cleaning products to sell.

Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

The group “Mujeres emprendedoras” [Enterprising Women] was created when women and neighbours from the city of Luque decided to come together, all looking for ways to improve the quality of life for themselves and their loved ones. They are in their eighth cycle of the women's committee programme. They are also part of the Poverty Stoplight programme.
Gloria is a member of the group who works in sales. Every day, starting early, she sells cleaning products which she herself has made. She adds that she joined the committee to be able to offer her loved ones a better quality of life. She is a selfless person who, despite the daily struggles, looks for ways to improve herself and to get ahead.
She is asking for this loan to buy the raw materials to make the cleaning products which she sells in order to be able to support her household and her family.
Note: there is only one person in the photo, however this is a group loan. A group photo was not possible due to the restrictions in place because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
