Nourn's story

Nourn M. is 53 and married. She lives with her husband and two children in Phnom Penh City, Cambodia: an area known for being the most populated city in the country. She sells fruit for an income of about USD 12 per day. Her husband is a village chief, earning an income of USD 5 per day to help cover the family expenses.

M. is requesting a loan of USD 1,000 to purchase a motorbike for family use. In the future, she would like to use any additional profit to repair her house. This is her fourth loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner in Cambodia.
