Tonou Ene Meluan's story

Tonou Ene Meluan K. is 33 Years old. She is married to Kuaro Ole K. and is a mother of three children.

Tonou is a farmer and has been farming on her own piece of land for the last three years.

She learned about KADET from other women who are already registered members of KADET. This will be her first loan of which she is planning to spend 50,000 Shillings to buy chemicals and fertilizer for her ten acre wheat farm. She will use the other 20,000 Shillings to prepare the remaining five acres to plant more wheat. Wheat has been doing well in this area.

She hopes to use the profit from these activities to expand her farming activity from small scale to large scale commercial, and attain financial independence.

She is a hard working woman who is determined to achieve her set goals.
