A loan of $850 helps invest in stock such as cell phones, tablets, and accessories.

Zoraida Maria's story

Zoraida is a 39-year-old borrower living in Barranquilla. She has had a store downtown for two years, where she sells everything related to cell phones, tablets, and accessories.
Due to COVID-19, her income has been impacted. The pandemic has lowered her income because her business was closed. However, she maintained the business so she would not lose it. Seeking to mitigate the impact of the pandemic and to jump-start her economic recovery, she has turned to the “Barranquilla Responde” [Barranquilla Responds] program lead by the local government of Barranquilla. Through this program, she is requesting a loan from the Fundación Santo Domingo on Kiva. She will use the loan to invest in merchandise such as cell phones, tablets, and more accessories. Support her loan, it will be a success.
