This village bank loan consists of 19 people who live in Angk Khlaeu village in Kandal province.

Mr. Mean M. is the village bank president, as selected by all the members who will each use their portion of the loan for different purposes. He and his wife, Mrs. Orang Proeung, are farmers who own three-hectares of land to cultivate rice to sell to support their family, including their 25 year old son. Their problE. is that their field is ready; however they don't have enough money to support it. So to improve production, Mr. Mean M. is asking for a loan to ensure they can farm their land this year.
