A loan of $700 helps to buy supplies for her work for skin care and body massage, such as creams, lotions, aftershave, oils, gel, thermal and high frequency blankets among other items.

Elizabeth Maria's story

Elizabeth is a micro-entrepreneur aged 52. She lives in the town of Barranquilla, studied cosmetology and beauty in an academy and then worked as an employee for some surgeons. Approximately 5 years ago she was working independently, attending her customers in their homes, a business which did very well as she is an enterprising person and has managed to achieve many customers.

Currently Elizabeth is seeking to mitigate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, and drive her economic reactivation. This is why she joined the "Barranquila Responds" program, led by the mayor of Barranquilla and so asked for her first Kiva loan from the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo.

She will invest the resources in purchasing supplies for her work for skin care and body massage with creams, lotions, aftershave, oils, gel, thermal and high frequency blankets, among other items. Support her in her loan.
