A loan helped a member to buy two bundles of second hand clothes, which will strengthen her starting capital.

Mwangaza Group's story

Madame Angelani is a client of the Hekima IMF and treasurer of the Mwangaza village group. She is married, 60 years old, and the mother of 5 children, all of whom are in school. Her spouse is a pastor.

She sells second hand clothes, and started this business 20 years ago with startup funds from her husband. Later, she turned to the Hekima program to support her business, and improved progressively.

With this new loan, she will buy two bundles of second hand clothes, which will strengthen her start up capital. The challenge of her business is related to the increase in the dollar's exchange rate.

Angelani would like to renovate her house. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to business owners who are not bankable within the context of the global Covid-19 crisis. The photo only features the group leader because of Covid-19.

In this group: Angelani, Godelive, Jeannette, Thereze, Francoise, Munyerekana, Marlene, Sylvie, Aimerance, Marie Salome, Sifa, Aimee, Bahati, Francine
