A loan of $500 helps to buy bread powder and other ingredients to make bread to sell in her store.

Sokha's story

Sokha is 26 years old, married and the mother of one child. She and her husband make and sell bread and have been running this business for three years. Her main challenges are more competitors and insufficient capital.

Sokha has applied for a 2,000,000 KHR loan through Chamroeun, a Kiva field partner, to buy bread powder and other ingredients to make and sell their bread in their store. With the loan, Sokha will be able to earn more income to continue her business as well as support her family.

Sokha hopes that she can grow her business, renovate her home and send her child to school.
