A loan of $375 helped to buy crosses and wire to make rosaries in order to finish a set of orders.

Martha's story

Martha is 45 years old. She is married and lives with her husband and 2 kids in their own house. Martha makes costume jewelry with pearls. She specializes in rosaries, and each one is a unique piece. She photographs every one and has compiled a catalog of all her designs to help her customers order them. Her potential customers are the church and wholesalers at the central market. She used to work alone, but now her daughter and others work with her so she can complete the orders in time. She enjoys what she does because it allows her to work without neglecting her family duties. She has been doing this for 12 years, and the most difficult part is to keep materials in stock, which has caused her to lose orders in the past. She wants to expand her market and then build a house. This is her first loan with MFP, and she knows it will help her increase her working capital. She promises to pay back her installments on time. She will use the money to buy crosses and wire wholesale to help her fill her orders.
