Sreymom's story

Sreymom is 33 years old, married and is the mother of three children. She cooks and sells porridge. Her husband is buying and selling rice. She has been running this business for 2.5 years.

Sreymom has applied for a 2,000,000 KHR loan through Kiva's field partner Chamroeun to buy rice, meat and other groceries for making food. Using the loan, she will be able to earn more income to continue her business, as well as support her family's living standards.

She hopes that she can grow her business and renovate her home.

Her main challenges are having more competitors and insufficient capital.
