Pha's story

Pha is 22 years old, married and the mother of one child. She sells groceries, as shown in the picture. She has been running this business for eight years. Her husband is a worker.

Pha's main challenge is insufficient capital. She has applied for a loan of 2,000,000 Cambodian riels, through Kiva's field partner Chamroeun, to restock her grocery store. With this loan, she will be able to earn more income to continue her business as well as support her family's living standards. She hopes that she can grow her business, renovate her home and send her child to school.
