Myriam is a 50-year-old micro-entrepreneur who lives in Barranquilla city with her partner. She has a business selling delicatessen that she started over 3 years ago with her partner's severance pay. She offers products such as cold cuts, disposable plates and cutlery, plastic cups, sweets, essences, and pastries, and bakery supplies.

Myriam is characterized by having independent businesses to be able to administer them and devote most of her time. Her business idea was born by the necessity to generate income to get her family ahead. Because of Covid-19 happening globally, her level of work decrease because of biosecurity and her income diminished drastically. Her short term goal is to get her business ahead throughout the Covid-19 difficult situation, increasing the variety of products, and having good prices.

Myriam is currently requesting her first Kiva loan with Fundacion Santo Domingo with the goal to invest in the purchase of beverages, essences, and sweets in bulk. Support her in this business loan.
