A loan of $550 helps to buy beef, pork, chicken, fish, eggs, cheese and others.

Eliana Carolina's story

Eliana Carolina is a 30-year-old microentrepreneur who lives in the city of Barranquilla along with her life partner. She sells beef, pork and fish, and she has done this activity for over 2 years, always offering quality products to her customers, formed by her neighbors, people from the area, referred customers, families, businesses, and others.

She also has the support from her life partner to carry on with this activity every day. Her business started due to the necessity of generating incomes to support her family. Because of the presence of COVID-19 around the world, her amount of work decreased due to biosafety reasons, and her incomes dropped dramatically.

Her short-term goals are to get her business ahead in spite of the hard times with COVID-19, and have all the proper documentation of it, since she feels that will give her a more solid support and will increase the status of the business.

She is currently requesting her first Kiva loan with the Mario Santo Domingo Foundation with the purpose of investing in the purchase of beef, pork, chicken, fish, eggs, cheese and other products. Give her your support!
