Fatu Kollie is the leader of a group of five borrowers called United Women. She is 42 years old, single and has two children who are 5 and 24 years old. She was not able to attend school due to poverty. She cares for 4 siblings.

For 4 years, Fatu has been operating a mini restaurant in the Congo Town on the outskirts of Monrovia, Liberia. She prepares her food well and operates in a friendly manner which keeps customers returning.

She plans to use her 10,400 Liberian Dollars portion of this 52,000 Liberian Dollars group loan to buy more rice, cooking oil, meat, fish and pepper

Her goal is to grow her business and to continue to support her children so that they can have a better future. She describes herself as a hardworking woman.
