A loan helped to purchase motorcycle tires and oil to sell.

John's story

In the small town of Katikara in Uganda lives a gentle man called John. He is the father of six and operates a motorcycle spare parts shop. He is aged 37 years and is the breadwinner for his family in terms of their welfare and paying school fees for his children. He dreams of educating them to university level so that they can be independent and responsible citizens.

John first operated a produce business in which he would buy and sell dry foods but later left it to start the spare parts shop for motorcycles which has now operated for six years. This is his third loan from HOFOKAM and he intends to purchase motorcycle tires and oil to sell.
