A loan of $950 helped purchase apples in bulk.

Denis Leonel's story

Denis Leonel G. C. is 26 years old and resides in the tiny village of Panchimalco, which is located in the Department of San Salvador. He lives with his wife who helps with his business and is also in charge of the household chores. They have three children. The two older children, ages 12 and 8, attend school while the youngest child is only eight months old.

Denis manages a vending post at the municipal market in Santa Tecla where he sells fruits, especially melons, which are in great demand. He and his wife work together because they want to provide their children with a better life than they had. They hope to give them all the basic necessities so that they can have a decent life. For this reason, Denis is requesting a loan from Apoyo Integral so that he can buy apples in bulk since this is the best time of the year to buy them in El Salvador. This will allow him to generate a little more income. He hopes with all of his heart to increase his sales and improve his family’s financial situation.
